About Us
The Jersey Land Rover Owners club was formed in August 2003 after a chance meeting between Howard Temple-Redshaw and Trevor & Liz Keeler who after discussing how disappointing it was not to have a Land Rover club in Jersey, decided to do something about it. The local newspaper wrote a small article and flyers advertising the first meeting were put on every parked Land Rover they could find. Twenty two people and 12 Land Rovers turned up to this meeting and now the club has over 50 very keen members which includes two couples from the UK who came to Jersey on holiday and made contact with the club via the LRM Clubs UK listing page
In the past 3 years the club has been organising trips to Normandy in northern France for green laning days or using the off road course at fwdfwd.com which is always a good challenge especially in the winter months. Some of the members have also taken part in events further afield including the original Croisiere Blanche and Triangle Vert. In November 2011, one 4x4 from the club will be trying out the 22nd Mille Rivieres event run by GRM France.
The club is always open to new members and meets up at 8pm every first Monday of each month at Devils Hole Pub, St Mary.
